
Retreat Workshop Overview
The workshop curriculum is tailored to the specific needs of the participants and based on individual enrollment. Workshops will include practicing an intentional focus and a space to navigate some (if not all) of the following topics:
Understanding & Managing All The Emotions (Mine and Theirs)
What To Do When We Don’t Know What To Do
Listening & Responding Effectively
Navigating the Unknown With Ease
Building Independence and Self Reliance
Worry is Not Love, Love is Love
Shifting From Frustration to Connection
Additionally, we will explore and learn how to foster emotional intelligence not only in ourselves but also within our children, regarding less of their age.. Some of the lessons covered will include How to Guide Our Family to Understand:
*Staying in their Business-Being a self advocate
*Eliminating Lying-How to be wrong & still be loved
*Participation in a Family-Using my voice & listening
*Developing a Personal Safe Space- boundaries & consequences
*Calming Anxiety-Recognizing my "sticky thoughts"
*Taking Ownership of My Choices- Heathy Conflict Resolution
Daily Structure: (can vary depending on specific enrollment)
Morning and Afternoon Workshop (includes meditation and writing)
Family Style Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Morning and Afternoon Tea/Coffee/Snack Time
Unstructured Free Time (Llama hikes, rafting, napping in the hammock or whatever suits you)
Guided Hikes on the Appalachian Trail
Fire Ceremony
And SPACE everyday to just be, to integrate, to be with yourself in order to further develop self reliance
